This presentation will provide an overview of the various reviver statutes across the United States, which extend the statute of limitations for victims of sexual abuse. It will also address some of the key liability and damages issues that are developing in the underlying claims and the scope of potential liability in light of the new laws. Finally, the presentation will address coverage issues that arise from these types of claims – both from a direct coverage and reinsurance perspective.
